POSTERING ETIQUETTE & LAWS
All artists/ promoters/ street-poster-teams should read this.
Postering is a right of free speech, however we must also respect the rights of our fellow citizens. We know its important to you to get your message to the public but you must do it in a way that is responsible, respectful and lawful.
- Do not poster over other peoples' posters before their event date.
- Do not poster on private property unless you have the owner's permission.
- When postering on City, Provincial or Federal property please be aware that thare are laws governing this activity and you may be subject to fines and/or criminal prosecution. The following links are for your information only and may not be comprehensive.
